        1. My friend Tia died in 2009 of “brittle” juvenile diabetes. She was a badass. She helped me find myself when I was a teen. I would not be who I am without her.         It is exceedingly rare that I ask you all for money. But to get Team Tia over their fundraising goal would mean so much to me & her family.
